Clarence Hunter Medley was born May 29, 1930 in South Boston, Virginia to the late Willie and Mabel Medley He was the fourth oldest of seven children.

Clarence attended school in Virginia and later moved to Paterson, New Jersey where he worked as a truck driver and later he became an owner of a grocery store. After managing his store for several years, he retired. He then became employed at Valley National Bank in Fair Lawn, NJ until his death. He enjoyed working on cars and car racing.

Clarence affectionately called “Hunter”, was a kind-hearted person with a joyful spirit, who enjoyed life and always greeted you with a smile. He was married to Elizabeth Brooks Medley and from this union he was blessed with one daughter, Sharon of South Boston, Virginia.

Clarence was predeceased by his brothers, Richard
Medley and Robert Medley and one sister, Edmonia
Medley.

Clarence departed this life into eternal rest on Monday, July 26, 2010 at the St. Joseph Medical Center, Paterson, New Jersey.

Clarence leaves to mourn: his daughter, Sharon Medley of South Boston, VA; two brothers, Wilson (Nancy) Medley of Magnolia, DE and Fred (Gaynelle) Medley of Jonesboro, GA; one sister, Mabel Medley of Hackensack, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved him and will miss him.
